1. With a partner, choose a relatively recent news story.
2. With your chrome book, write a brief synopsis of the story.
3. Explain: Is the story a case of:
(i) a challenge that requires change? or...
(ii) a change that is challening?
4. How does your story relate to at least 2 of the 3 ologies (feel free to draw from yesterday's chart)
* Tomorrow you will have 20 minutes to complete the asst... and then we will share back (seminar style) your findings with the class :)

1. What recent changes have been made to Ontario's new sex ed. curriculum (what is taught in schools)?
2. Why do some parents find these changes to be too challenging, so much so that they have organized protests, petitions, some parents even removing their students from school?
3. Use functionalism as a theory to explain the topic. How would a functionalist (view of education) explain what is going on?
